BANGKOK, 29th March 2019 (NNT) - The Deputy Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Wissanu Krea-ngam, has advised the incoming government to pursue three main tasks, namely administering the country, implementing the national reform plan, and pushing forward the 20-year national strategy.

The Secretariat of the House of Representatives led 160 members of the Democratic Youth group to pay a courtesy call on the Deputy Prime Minister at Government House on Thursday (Mar 28).

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Wissanu delivered a speech, saying the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand prescribes the national reform plan in 11 aspects. They include politics, state administration, law, judicial administration, economy, natural resources and environment, public health, mass communication, society, energy and anti-corruption. Two additional aspects, namely police and education, were announced in the Royal Gazette on April 6th, 2018.

The 20-year national strategy (2017-2037) is the very first national strategy under the constitution. It aims to develop the nation through six strategies, covering security, competitiveness enhancement, human resources development, creation of opportunities and social equality, environmental-friendly growth, and public-sector readjustments.

Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu said it is, therefore, important that the incoming government should strive to undertake the three main tasks.

and hopefully the last. Tantamount to nullifying elections.

If the 20 year plan includes dismantling most of the Thai Army ,BIB and seizing the illegal assets of thousands of corrupt generals and their families going back as far as Gen  Sarit in the sixties then Thailand has a bright future.

It won't happen.

It's exactly the same government..

I Jabberwocky,

47 Deputy Prime Ministers (borogroves)

3,256 Generals (frumious bandersnatches)

Actually, Mr. DPM, why don't you just scrap that. Here's a better advise:

Is "advice" newspeak for "order"?

The soap opera happening to the British government is far more interesting to read. They are the laughing stock of the world. I think in spite of its faults , the army is far more capable of governing Thailand than the British government is governing the UK

Perhaps we could put in place a swap. The Junta could go to the UK and the UK Tory government, well, mis-government could take over Thailand.  Bet you any money even it that ludicrous suggestion were to happen, The British Embassy in Bangkok would still go out of its way not to help UK nationals ????

Got nothing to do with the UK.

Your post-denial,obfuscation and deflection-whilst typical of you,is irrelevant.

After seeing his recent work hopefully the public ignores this buffoon and wish him into history never to be seen again. The incoming government will do whatever it wants, just like they always have, and line their pockets, just like they always have (or maybe come up with new and inventive ways to fleece the sheepole that put them in office).

The article is about Thailand, where I live. As much as I love the UK, the situation there is not related to the subject at hand. Perhaps there is a forum elsewhere that would entertain your comments.

So what you are really saying is:

"Through the avenue of the medium of!"

Hopefully, given some time, this won't be the worst (or best might be a better adjective here) thing hurled at their General direction.

Kudos to whoever did that gif tho, cracked me up.

Who won? I know this could be complex question.

And don't slam the door shut on your way out you kiss a..se. First thing the new government will try to do is tear up that wretched piece of paper and redo it. Hopefully first there will be a voided election and then a new honest one.

Army is still in control, with the vail argument of looking after the country's sovereignty.
