April 5, 20197 yr Check with your Ministry of Foreign Affairs(or whatever it is called in your country) before proceeding. Most have websites outlining procedures and costs for replacing lost passports. Stating your nationality here may elicit replies from fellow countrymen.
April 5, 20197 yr Author im from the uk,it says something with name and address on where currently stay but how can you have something in foreign country with your name and address on if visiting and staying with a friend?
April 5, 20197 yr Perhaps have your friend write a letter. It won't take very long, and it might work.

April 5, 20197 yr If you bank statements from the UK are mailed to your address here they would be accepted. They will accept about anything that has your address here on it. If in Thai it has to be translated.
April 5, 20197 yr Did the friend file a TM30 with Immigration? You could obtain a Certificate of Residence from Immigration.

April 5, 20197 yr Why does he need documentation with a thai address? A tourist wouldnt have it, and there must be tourists who lose passports every day. Maybe a copy of flight details would be useful.

April 5, 20197 yr Unless you can show a Thai address, you may only be able to get an emergency travel document to travel to the UK, and need to sort things out there.
April 6, 20197 yr Probably O.K. I am assuming that when you apply for your passport, you will be signing a form to this effect: "I certify that all information filed in support of this application is true, and that filing false information is a criminal offence."
April 6, 20197 yr You must have a picture of some ID (pp, DL, heathcard, etc) on your phone or online somewhere, when you've applied for visa (or something)....
