Police clearance certificate for Non-B visa (foreign teacher)

Hi All,

I'm really confused about the current police clearance certificate requirements for foreign teachers in Thailand. I'm currently in Thailand, planning to start my teaching job in May, applying for a Non-B visa in Laos or Malaysia soon. I will have a police clearance certificate from my home country, and I was planning to go to the Police Clearance Service Center in Bangkok as well, because I had worked in Thailand before for a couple of years. But I've heard that instead of getting the certificate in Bangkok, I might have to go back to the town where my previous school is located and get the document from there. Do you have any information about this? Thank you!

The only location you can apply for the police clearance is in Bangkok at the police clearance service center.
