BANGKOK, April 12 — Sixteen people, including eight Malaysians, were injured after a hotel in Sadao in Songkhla province, southern Thailand caught fire today.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thai designer Panupong Chansopa saw a business opportunity in millions of vinyl campaign posters destined to become trash after last month's general election, and salvaged hundreds to turn them into colourful tote bags with a message.

LONDON (Reuters) - Nigel Farage, one of the leaders of a campaign to leave the European Union, launched a new Brexit Party on Friday, promising to put "the fear of God" into lawmakers he accused of betraying Britain's decision to quit the bloc.

UK parliament very likely to consider new Brexit referendum - Hammond

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - British finance minister Philip Hammond said on Friday it was very likely that the idea of a second Brexit referendum would again be put to parliament at some point, although the government remained opposed to any new plebiscite.
