Your team put up a great show Will.

Thanks mate.

We didn't lose any friends I thought.

I was hoping pregame we could keep it below 60 points.

Goodwin and his 2 former assistants are 1-8 and have a strangle hold on 15th, 17th and 18th, and Willie thought the good times where just around the corner...

Yep Uncle Alex.

I think bottom 3 for you, us and Richmond.

I don't expect Goodwin to be there next year.

Ahhh yes I was thinking preseason battling from 8th to 14th now im thinking  bottom 4, no stranger there, we know it very well...I suspect its the new jumper wish they would frigging leave it at pre colour tv days the navy with red, it was HORROR time on the dawn of colour tv when they lighted the blue, if we won more than 4 games a season for what was an eternity you can colour me blue, I cringe when ever I see that jumper which was adopted as an away jumper in recent years but slightly darker, and now a good dam royal blue...hate it, its not the Demons.

Will be seeing you in the elevator as you go up and we go down, and yes well Goodwin, has his critics and has managed  to get a 15 min weekly gig on Fox footy in anticipation of unemployment next year, contracts up end of 26 takes him to 10 ys if he still gets there, its like this they will either extend or sack as they wont allow there coach to go into the final year with out a deal on the table or coming, the Demons have this great big target glued to its head, pretty dam sure the club doesn't want anymore bad press...

Anyway I need to stay optimistic, Simons got us up before when it looked like we where gone, but it does look like the players would prefer an early exit...Simon does not strike me as a coach that is just going turn up Monday morning and tell the club hey im off to Mexico see ya...

Club Captain meets with an opposition coach after round 3.

What do we do?

Put out a limp wristed statement and an embarrassing press conference.

How he wasn't made to stand down as captain tells you how much this once proud club has fallen. Both on and off the field.

Don Pyke has been really underwhelming since he took over as CEO.

I have no issues with players shopping themselves.

But for Christ's sake do it through your manager or on a zoom call.

<deleted> embarrassing.

Rant over😁

In breaking news, Mokbel is granted bail, "get out of jail card" handed down, will shack up at sisters place in Viewbank, not to far from where I use to live, hillside pretty area of Melbourne without going into the bigger hills..Will he be the next rumoured coach of the Dee's? we need someone to get us out of jail fast....could say a bit of an expert escape artist and very well respected amongst his peers, he would be a tiger among the pidgins, ummmm. read once where I think a Columbian Chelsea player had his father kidnapped in a ransom attempt on said player, Roman Abramovich then owner "offered" to take care of the matter for said player, it was gratefully and kindly refused, police where able to do it...

Thats what the Dee's Blues and Coasters need...

Great win for the Swans. They have a lot of their normal play list out but still came through. Riley Bice a 24 year old recruit really shone today.

Great win Rip.

Bice has been a great pick up.

North were disappointing.

Also thought the Crows were robbed.

I hope WC can keep the margin around 60 points tomorrow.

I fear not though.

AFL have come out today and the ump made a mistake. It should have been a mark or a free kick

The Crows complain about the umpiring most games so they will be happy to actually have people agreeing with them this time.

Glad to see this was brought up in The Age.

But before anyone gets too conspiratorial about the great Adelaide injustice, consider the moment in the second quarter when a free kick should have absolutely been paid against Adelaide’s Mark Keane for throwing the ball to Jake Soligo at the top of the Gold Coast Suns’ goal square. It was a clearer mistake than the Rankine moment. The Suns would have certainly kicked a goal.

OK OK, when you are second to the ball it always goes the other way but there where several scratch my head moments in the Cats Dees game, even big Max was left bemused and it was clear by his body language.

Anyway Will the Blues recover? at least there players dont look disinterested....

Unfortunately it can be verified that part of the core group over at Casey have checked out...gone on vacation, looking to lower valuation on getting traded, Simon is just being dragged through the motions, pretending to coach, I mean that in the sense he is all on his own, deadman walking, the big question is how bad do we have to get before Brad pulls the trigger, the press so far haven't turned up the gas but its just a matter off time, and we dont need a repeat of the (every) daytime bombing the club got last year, I would hope they have respect for Goodwin and tell him quit and you get the full payout or we sack you and you get the full payout, and soon, I would not want Simon to hang around just to get paid out, think we owe him and I think we owe him to leave on a reasonably high note.

Something for Fj, we could have been in suffering together at the same time...just heard Eddie M on his footy on 9 show talk about why the Demons supporter base is low, somewhere in there he bought up merger talks between Demons and North, I knew they had been active in talking to the Dogs and Hawks but not North, as with Hawks it almost was a done deal, the jumper was red yoke with Norths stripes underneath," the Cuban flag", we certainly would have lit up the league in a jumper like that, train at Arden st and play at the G, would have been known as the Melbourne Kangaroos, apparently they couldn't get it across the line due to both club presidents expecting to be president of new club...thank god, means Archer would have played for us, now Hawks I would have been happy with, maybe stayed on if it was the Dogs but back then no way Jose if North.

No Expectations, Rolling stones,

Take me to the station and put me on a train ive got no expectation to pass through here again, once I was a rich man now I am so poor but never in my sweet short life have I felt like this before.......well the truth is we have felt like this before

And we are back at Beggars Banquet once again the title of the album that song comes off, like we Demons know it ho so well, dinning off discards while hiding under the table, Norm Smith has turned in his grave I suspect.

"Wont Get Fooled again" The Who, or "I can See For Miles" also the Who, one of my personal favourites of that era,  You cant fool me Max Gawn and I can see what you where up to yesterday, clearly doing a hatchet job on Simon.

We where just rubbish back when so you know it wasn't so bad when we had maybe 2 or 3 decent players in the team, but today 5 wins 15 losses is clearly a cry from a core group of players over there coach, but Max took it to a new level yesterday, some supporters thought he was in our best 3, well he was in the mix of it and shooting out handballs and taps but my friend he was Essendon's 19th player on the ground, normally big Max is cool calm and collected and just plays his game, yesterday I picked up on it during the last quarter as I only got to see the second half as streams at least where I was where down, in packs and throw ins Max was throwing his arms around, this is not a normal Max, acted like he was on Yaba, hypo? given up frees, then taps went anywhere normally to Bombers advantage, handballs and crappy kicks to Bombers, marking a strength hardly any yesterday, beaten in contests or just not holding on to them, Last week noticed he clearly was showing signs of animated bewilderment to the umpires, like this guy for 12 ys just gets on with it...but not this year, Max you are a disgrace to the number 11.

Oliver? ummm....im not sure but gets the ball just dont do much with it, when he use to get 40 possesions a game 20 of them did damage now down to 25 is next to useless, Viney just seems to fumble more, Sparrow out of the game for long periods, Salem, umm, seems to get the ball as often but once again more fumbles and hand overs, I would say Macdonald is one of the few who turn up every game, May if he is disgruntled is doing a great job of keeping it hidden, Petty id say is over it,  Melksham can turn it on and im sad for the guy that he has to play in this team in his last season....as for Van Rooyan playing like s'h'i't well the ball comes down like a hand grenade...

The trouble is Mr Brad Green wont pull the trigger for at least 6 or 7 more games, Dockers, expect a loss, but loose to Tigers then Eagles Mr Green the heat will be on...well its on now, you can expect the parrot press to begin to ramp it up from today, im sure that word "culture" will raise its head, then the trio of Oliver Petracca and Picket as well...plz Mr Green put Simon out of his misery and lets not let that press circle us like vultures picking at our carcass while still alive...

The core team even with a new coach wont go far, they will be just playing out there contracts, so its more of the same for the next 3 years at least.

So it's back to No Expectations, so take me to the airport and put me on a plane I got no expectations to pass through here again.....Mr Magoo.....you did it again....
