Question about Fantasy.....with lock out just before the first game of the round does that mean all trades and changes must be made by then or is just lock out for that game?

Assuming all players in my team are available for that first match or i not wish to make a trade preferring to see who's in and out for the fri and sat games...up until now I've been doing all my trades etc by the fist game of that weeks round, its starting to bug me as I'm getting caught short with omissions and injuries.

I looked on the AFL site but geees 2000 rules and double dutch, i just want quick and easy answers I'm not studying AFL for a degree.

Anyones reply to my question is gratefully appreciated.

Well... well...well. Seems to me there is at least SIX 'fitty fitty' games this week!

A chance for tipsters to go from zero to hero; hero to zero; almost there, to there; almost there to further away.

Port v Collingwood

Richmond V Carlton

Essendon V Melbourne

Western Bulldogs v Gold Coast

North Melbourne v Geelong

West Coast v Adelaide

GWS v St Kilda

Hawthorn V Fremantle

Brisbane V Sydney

It could be said there are actually 8 games that could swing either way, adding in Richmond v Carlton and West coast v Adelaide.

Early thoughts anyone?

Well, since you asked BookMan.

I'm over waiting for Port to play a blinder. The Pies have been good despite losing their last 2. Pies for me.

Tiges should beat Carlton but Carlton have caused them some grief in the past.

I think the Bombers have hit the wall, Demons.

WB at home should beat the revitalized Suns.

I think Geelong should win so I'm tipping Northblink.png

WC hopefully to beat Ade at home although I reckon anything could happen in this one.

GWS at home in a tight one.

hawthorn to beat Freo in Tassy. Freo are just going IMO.

Sydney to take care of Brisbane.

Looking very similar to myself KhunWill

The 3 games i have not fully decided on are:

Richmond v Carlton

Bulldogs V GC

North v geelong

Richmond

and

Gold coast

games will come down to player availability

North V Geelong... errrr.... North maybe..no. Geelong. Hmm, maybe North...

I maybe wrong Alex but pretty sure when the first game starts,it says full lockout meaning no more changes.

When there is a game on Thursday there is a partial lockout for players of those two teams playing. You can still change players from the other teams until the Friday night games start.

This week's going to be one tricky round to pick...

I think Port's going to choke again tomorrow night, not just because the coach isn't able to focus (understandably) on coaching right now. But the boys might dig deep for Kenny - which would be nice to see. But I think, given, Collingwood haven't had any distractions this week they should get the chocolates...

Richmond and Carlton - shouldn't cause tipsters too many headaches...

Bombers v Dees - given that they've given up this season, short of an injection of life, they'll be easy pickings for the Dees...

Dogs v Suns - this one is the one that has caused great headaches, was the Suns demolition of the Roos last week a one off? Is Gary Ablett Jnr the second coming? Playing in Cairns has me edging closer towards an upset...

Roos v Cats - recently been a sibling rivalry, lets see if Majak gets another run this weekend...

Eagles v Crows - Can't see the Crows doing too much damage, that being said, won't begrudge them if they absolutely belt the shit out of the Eagles - or at least enough to reduce their percentage ;)

Hawks v Dockers - probably the contest to really see where the Dockers are at... Contenders or perennial pretenders? I'm taking the Hawks...

Lions v Swans - Be interesting to see if Horse bloods some new talent, sticks with the tried'n'true or sends up the Reserves... :P

Inside 50s are killing Collingwood. Port 47. Collingwood 31 at 3 quarter time. Rain now pissing now...Collingwood no chance

Hard tackles, good umpiring, (so far), changing weather conditions, quick tap ons, players kicking while laying on their backs, Great game. Pies by 4.

Good Old Collingwood forever, They know how to play the game

Side by side they stick together, To uphold the Magpies name.

Sooooo quite in here....

Even quieter after watching this game. Melbourne squandered so many chances and now Essendon kicked 6 goals in a row...No way is Melbourne coming back this final quarter.

The dream of a follow up victory to my 2013 win is fast disappearing...

only 3 points in it now bookie...gooooo deeeeeesssss

Oh Khun BM, you sure do underestimate the ability of Essendon to choke :P

Melbourne should have had that one...

The 18 behinds is only partially reflective of their woeful kicking, It doesn't include the shots that went out of bounds on the full and the ones that didn't even get a point

Melbourne 58 inside 50s

Essendon 45 inside 50s

9 point loss....how well....

That would be painful as a melbourne supporter

My God, Can we shot Eddie M? His love of Essendon today was over the top

3 got 3 out of 3 so far this round...including me thumbsup.gif ...you really should talk to me if you want pick the Dee's....

Never in 2 million light years would i pick the Dee"s against the Bombers, they have a habit of belting us up, make us look ordinary, what ever, and further more if we get any press....well thats an omen too, Roos and players should stop giving interviews.

Bloody boys did make me sweat in that final term.....rolleyes.gif
