Type O Marriage Visa Savannakhet Laos

If a American gets a Type O Marriage Visa from the Thai Embassy in L.A. WITHOUT having a Thai bank account. Can you get a new Type O Visa for Marriage in Savannakhet Laos one month before the visa expires again WITHOUT 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account ? And what requirements are needed ? Has anything recently changed?

Do you have a single entry or multiple entry non-o visa. If it is a multiple entry non-o visa you can use it to get another 90 day up to the date it expires. If a single entry visa it is already invalid.

You can get a single or multiple entry non-o visa in Savannakhet based upon marriage with no financial proof.

You will need your marriage certificate plus a copy, copies of your wife's house book registry and ID card signed by her.

It is a multiple entry visa Type O Marriage visa from the Thai Embassy in L.A. United States it expires August 20, 2019. The question is. Can i get a new one from Savannakhet Laos lets say on July 1, 2019 WITHOUT the need of 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account ? Not to renew but basically get a NEW Type O visa.

Yes you could if you wanted to.

But there is no need to do it that early since you can get a new 90 day entry on or before the day it expires.

So if i understand correct. I can go to any border when my latest entry stamp ends July 1st and get 90 more days which would end about September 29, 2019 past when the Type O visa expires on August 20, 2019 ? Giving me a little over thirteen months out of the one year visa?

Yes you can or you could do another border hop on August 20th for another 90 day entry.

The visas expiration date is just that it does not limit the amount of time you can spend in the country. Once in the country the visa expiration date means nothing.s

You could do it twice,  final one  August 19th 2019, and get another 90 days from then (Nov 17th)?. Giving you near 15 months. out of the one year Visa.
