Bangkok, Thailand – The impactful change starts with the simple word “know.” Once you know, you will love and you will change. No matter who you are, let’s be a part of ‘6th Little Hands Can Help’, an event held by Senior students majoring in Public Relations, Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, Assumption University of Thailand. With an aim to create a better society by making the unknown non-profit organizations and local communities to be well-known, the event features activities from 8, helping 3 non-profit organizations and 5 local communities. Let’s give a hand on April 27th, 2019 from 10.00 am onwards at Chamchuri Square.

Mr. Chanon Sirithorn, Assistant to the Dean and Chairperson of Public Relations Department, Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, Assumption University of Thailand, states “In order to let students learn and participate in social activities as well as applying knowledges from the courses, Little Hand Can Help event is organized every year. So, students can gain hands on public relations work experience while engaging themselves in organizing campaigns that impact the society.”

This year, eight projects are organized to help 3 non-profit organizations and 5 local communities which are Baan Saladin at Maha Sawat Community, Banglamphu Community, Kudichin Community, Rang Chan Community, Thakam Sub District Municipality, Yim Soo Cafe, Peuan Deratchan Mini Zoo, and Asa Idsara Tang Nha Sob Free (a free funeral makeup volunteer service club). The organizations are unknown among majority of people, however; each organization has its own unique interesting aspect waiting to be discovered.

"Little Hands Can Help" is an annual event held by senior students majoring in Public Relations, Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, Assumption University of Thailand since 2013 with an aim to create a better society where every life matters, under the inspiration “a big change starts from little power”. All students are cultivated with practical-based learning under the concept “give” reasonably and “contribute to society” sustainably.
