A security guard and his work colleague were frequently said to argue.

This happened again on Wednesday evening. Anan Noothiang, 45, decided to drive off in his Nissan pick-up.

His mate Somkhid Sae-jiw, 62, wasn't having that.

He spreadeagled himself on the hood of the vehicle expecting his rival to stop.

He didn't.

Instead he drove off at speed along the road to the Viphavadee Rangsit fort in Surat Thani in Thailand's south.

It was five kilometers before the pair were stopped and arrested outside a police booth at the fort.

Anan was fined 1,000 baht for driving in a scary manner.

Somkhid was fined 100 baht for creating a public disturbance.

He had kicked in and smashed the windshield during his journey on the hood.

But neither man wanted to make anymore of it.

Daily News reported that they both went their separate ways after being released by the police.
