i don't believe he was drunk.  just a normal decision making process in Thailand.

He may have been drunk but he was sober enough to realise he can do whatever he wants on the roads of Thailand and get away with it.

Hey come on guys he was driving a PICKUP and perhaps he was just trying to find out more about that concept, I mean he is never going to drive it off there is he?

This is a sure sign of major talent, common sense, the execution of reason, patience, great skills, and experience.

What on earth could have happened? Texting? Watching TV on his monitor? Only been driving for five months? Or was he just so blitzed he was nearly blind? Hope he loses his license for 10 years. This guy should not be on the road.

Based on what I've seen he was probably just practicing his parallel parking technique.

The Thai GPS is cheaper to buy, BUT obviously more expensive to use…

Just need to finish building the road first...

I think he will have some serious issues explaining this to the insurance company.

The car is going to be a part of the construction, just fill concrete and make the road on top of it.

Coronation explanation!

All too often I have come across construction with little to no barriers, barricades, signage or other warnings. I have no idea of what this man or occupants were thinking, and I will leave that to the "experts" and clairvoyants in this forum to spout forth their synopsis of the events.

Well, that is kind of his problem, that he not is on the road.

even more-so, he was "brainstorming" about an advanced method of bending rebar.

A perfect scene from the new Hangover sequel 555

Hmmm....he will probably win the “Thai driver of the year award”?

maybe his friend said I know a shortcut to where we are going.no police or anyone will know it

Names not published. Licence plate numbers pixellated and removed from social media posts. Driver connected to the police?

he made a bet with his friend: i'm able to park my car there! and so he did

Wonder what or who he's gonna blaim? It obviously wasn't his fault (looking at the pictures).  :whistling:

Blame it on Google maps navigation...

Now how did he get that far? On those metal bars?

I'm sure they were abiding by the speed limit
