Thats really the biggest problem in the USA. Some places are pure "cold season" nasty. Boston. Buffalo. New York City, Chicago. And dont even talk about places like Fairbanks AK or Bozeman, Montana

    A few years ago I used to rent a cheap room, got my TM30 registered there, and kept it regardless of where I lived. It was worth it to avoid just this kind of hassle.

  • There has been not mention of CW telling people to  do another TM30 report after a trip out of the country. You may only need to be sure the at least one TM30 form is submitted. They accept TM30

Not in any doubt - the UK winter months are much less extreme than that. Nonetheless they are typically cold, damp, grey and quite often "bloody freezing" (a common expression heard November thru February). Guess I'm a snowbird too of some description, as I've managed to avoid the full English winter since 1995...

Maybe in terms of the pure, brutal canadaian blasts we get, but you guys? England is worse than Feb/March up in New England, cold  and wet causing chilblains and catarrh, yuck, ewww, gross, Id rather die slow now from Pm25
