Idiot burglar helps himself to noodles - then leaves his phone behind

Police in Udon Thani said they should have little difficulty tracing a burglar after he left his old phone behind at the scene of the crime. 

 

The man, aged about 20 and in just shorts, was also caught on CCTV as he ransacked a house belonging to a Thai woman and her Japanese husband who were abroad. 

 

The thief stole an iPad then helped himself to instant noodles at the house in Non Sung of the north eastern Thai province. 

 

Linna Khamrotkaew, 31, who drops in once a week to check up on the two story property for a friend said the burglary happened last Monday at 1.30 am. 

 

Her friend Petchaporn Wongsabutr, 31, and her Japanese husband went to live in Japan two years ago and come back once a year to visit the property. 

 

Police said the burglar left his old style phone on the dining table after enjoying some noodles - they soon expect to have him in custody.
