Which Brexit ? A HARD Brexit, so a border between N & S Ireland, mening a the Good Friday treaty was worth only 20 years, or.. a soft ( Norwegian / Swiss) Brexit or a softy-soft Brexit or ? ? Already an idea - since 2013 thinking - how the Gibraltar - Spain border will be ?

The good Friday terrorist appeasement agreement doesn’t mention anything much about the border if you read it. Actually it doesn’t mention terrorists will be effectively let off with reassurance letters issued by the Blair government, so did they breach the ‘good Friday agreement when British Soldiers are still persecuted?

There is a border in Ireland and from experience there are lots of customs checks carried out particularly on the southern side of it.

Berth Aghern had a plan but the Varadka wanted to be the EU poster boy and squash it.

There is no such thing as a soft Brexit only Brexit.

If Corbyn wasnt such a liar - what the people voted for could have been delivered long ago!!

It isn’t nor has it ever been Corbyn’s job to deliver Brexit.

Please educate yourself on how the UK’s Parliament works.

Corbyn is hiding the fact that he is and always has been anti-EU, and instead of getting behind Brexit he's focused on blocking every Brexit proposal in the hope he can force a general election. If he had got behind Brexit at the outset, bizboi is probably right - we may have left by now.

But you're forgiven. We don't expect a Belgian to understand these nuances in UK politics ????

Misprint new bald offer coming????

She’s tried crafting a secrete deal and withholding that from Parliamentary scrutiny.

She’s tried enacting Henry VIII powers to push her secret deal through by executive order.

When dragged before Parliament by ‘enemies of the people’ she tried to force Parliament’s acquiesce by presenting ‘her deal’ at the very last moment.

She’s repeatedly tried to get ‘her deal’ through Parliament despite the  clear message that ‘her deal’ is not acceptable.

She’s drawn numerous pointless ‘redlines’, only to retreat behind and then abandon them.

When all else has failed she’s had the ‘bright idea’ (folly) she might be able to enlist the help of the Opposition.

And if all that isn’t bad enough, the Brexiteers in her party have remained hidden in the background, only once offering to present an ‘alternative Plan B’ but failing even to deliver that.

This crock of Brexit has turned out to be exactly what ‘project fear’ said it would be.

Better still, it is failing to prevent what it was meant to avoid - A schism in the Tory Party.

That sums it up nicely!

You just missed the bit where she called a needless GE, on the advice of her two trusted advisers, hoping to increase her majority, claim she had a mandate for her deal, and hope enough "new tory mps" were supportive of her. Backfired completely.

Her track record throughout her career has been similar.

Yes Labour lied to get votes which undermined the last General election. They promised to deliver Brexit then have tried to block it since they were elected.

They never promised to deliver Brexit by voting in support of a crap deal; a deal so crap it's hardly supported by anyone in or out of parliament.

Labor under commie Corbyn aren't likely to have achieved much better mind.

Does this mean that the previous version was a not so bold deal?

And will this vote be more "meaningful" than the previous meaningful votes?

Not only the worst PM ever, but becoming more of a pantomime figure daily.

I cannot disagree with that!

What I'm hearing is that the Maybot is hoping enough MPs are going to be in fear after the main two parties are smashed at the EU elections, and that they'll also be fearful of a 'no-deal' PM (i.e. Boris) replacing her. She thinks she can get the deal across the line on that basis.

That said, we already know Parliament won't allow no-deal, and that the EU won't budge on the WA. If Boris has any sense (which is unlikely), he'll propose we scrap the WA and aim for a comprehensive FTA - which I believe the EU already offered us.

And if that last try one does not help her out of the ditch ….Henry VIII powers ?? ????

I don't think she'll ever get anywhere near a majority for her capitulation deal, no matter how she tries to polish her turd. A No Deal PM possibly could if he came with vision and leadership to control his MPs.

The threat of a quick GE could focus all their attentions and bring support for a No Deal vote in Parliament. All those LAB MPs in Leave constituencies would change their minds if they realised their cushy jobs are on the line and the Labour party will never again have the same clout it used to have. How many would throw their middle class comfortable principles out of the window and jump ship to the Brexit Party?

Its not his job to stop it after the majority of voters voted for it too - or is that a concept not taught by your lefty geography teacher? No …thought not!

I have no idea how this ends. But when gazing at my crystal balls, 'Badly' comes the answer.

The EU will not allow us to simply mess them about forever.

We have no option other to keep messing them about. We can't even agree among ourselves that water is wet.

Parliament will not allow a 'No Deal'.

They will also vote down any compromise.

Cross party talks are fruitless.

So Hard Brexit it looks like, then. The German car industry will not save us. The EU will not back down and don't care about World War II, which ended a lifetime ago. They didn't give us the easiest deal in human history.p

And so our mighty UK - until the Scots blaze their own trail - is finshed. But later on we can prosper? When will that be? The fallout resulting from our Exit and the subsequent blame game will keep us occupied for years to come. There won't be any time for deals as we squabble among ourselves over who was wrong.

Meanwhile, we become Albania or a Balkanised couple of islands. But hey, at least we get blue passports...

Good idea. It's well known that the Queen is a remainer.

The EU looks like Hotel California to me and the only way out will be no deal WTO or just cancel the whole Article 50 with all the consequences of doing so.

Breaking News...

Quote

Theresa May has told MPs they have "one last chance" to deliver Brexit, as she set out a "new Brexit deal".

MPs will get a vote on whether to hold another referendum if they back the EU Withdrawal Agreement Bill, she said.

The bill also contains new guarantees on workers' rights, environmental protections and the Irish backstop as well a customs "compromise".

If MPs reject the bill, she warned them a negotiated exit would be "dead in the water" and Brexit could be stopped.

Where the catch???

Where the catch???

I would think the catch is in having to vote for her Merkel/May Surrender Treaty first. There could be other traps too before they eventually got around to giving the choice of a 2nd referendum to the MPs. Her capitulation bill must get voted down and she would have almost certainly been replaced by a Brexiteer PM before a referendum vote could go to MPs. She lied to the electorate and is lying to the house commons too. Another bare faced lie 'bold' as brass.

I think the catch might be that she cannot or will not revoke article 50. On the morrow she will be on the side of the ERG and lambasting Brussels. Just more words...
