I thought I understood this but I see so many replies to what appear to me to be legit posts saying "Troll". So can you define what trolling is for me? Is this post a troll?

A troll posts deliberately inciteful or inflammatory nonsense, often made up stories, in order to goad people into a response.

The dippy kid in the back of the class making fart noises while the teacher's back is turned is a good example.

Well there's Trolls then there's Troll's. Some people seem to turn this into an artform where they get a major thread running generally based on a made up story or daft opinions. A couple of examples IMNSHO -

Both by the same poster who puts a bit of intelligence into his work.

At the other end of the intelligence scale we have the straightforward Troll.
