608kg of marijuana seized in Bueng Kan

Over 600kg of marijuana was seized in Bueng Kan’s Bung Kla district but no arrest was made, the provincial governor said.

 

Bueng Kan governor Nirat Pongsitthavorn and Bueng Kan police chief Maj Gen Thiwa Boondamnern said 608 bars of marijuana had been seized with each weighing 1kg.

 

Police also seized a pickup truck, six motorcycles and two trolleys from the scene.

 

Acting on tip-offs, police said they staked out a public pond in Ban Had Hae in Tambon Khok Kwang on Tuesday night.

 

Police said they spotted men carrying 14 bags onto the pickup truck but they managed to escape.

Never fear!  I wouldn't assume that they'll stay out of the distribution chain. They'll just get to your supplier through a slightly different route. 

 

No longer do they burn it in the bonfire now they hand it over to the medical marijuana factory. Confiscating drugs is becoming big business in Thailand. So now we know why the government isn't fully legalising weed. Their already making a fortune doing this.

I wouldn't of thought it was nowhere near the quality for medical use.low THC and CBD plus takes forever to grow.its probably better to use 1kg of the real plant than it is to use a dustbin full of that stuff.

Obviously someone kept 2KG for themselves ????

They all escaped from the police stakeout but they got the gear sack the useless lot and follow the gear up the chain????

...and I thought the samlor driver who drove into the side of my pick-up in Bueng Kan was drunk - actually he was probably stoned.....
