Video: Netizens praise technical college students for helping out in road rage incident

A video posted to Facebook from Mahachai in Samut Sakhon showed a taxi driver and a motorcyclist coming to blows amid heavy traffic yesterday. 

 

The taxi driver appears to be armed with a club that the motorcyclist manages to get from him. 

 

As the pair continue to square up several students from the Samut Sakhon technical college try to diffuse the situation.

 

The fight followed a collision, reported Daily News. Damage was done to a song thaew. 

 

Netizens who viewed the footage praised the students for helping in the situation.

I hope they don't end up getting suffering for getting involved, same as the report about the ferang who did the same a couple of days ago and was beaten senseless (was it in Phai IIRC?), ending up in hospital for his trouble.

Teach them a lesson for interfering...or that only applies to farangs?

When they're returning those hundreds of thousands of Baht left behind by pesky foreigners.

The big difference here compared to what happened in Pai is not that the person interfering is Thai, but that they are a large group.

As soon as the song taew driver loses his club he looses the bottle to carry-on.

The guy in the grey shirt after dis-arming him doesn't escalate it further either..
