Visa advice

Featured Replies

I've been in Thailand since April with the following:
2 months = Tourist visa
15 days = border hop (day 1 is today)

Future:
I'm staying 6 more weeks before going home to Europe for a month.

My plan:
Another border hop, plus 30-day stamp at DMK after a 5-day trip to Hanoi. Is it doable or risky?

My history:
2018: 2 visa exemptions at DMK
2017, 2016, 2015: 1 visa exemption each year at DMK

I had tried to extend my visa at Nonthaburi immigration but there was a form which had to be completed and signed by my landlord, who didn't want to do so, and therefore I couldn't apply for the extension.

Thanks in advance

TM30 or what?

Never heard of anything else.

Just book a night in a real hotel and u are tm30 registered before you go there...Hotels have to report you... Normal thais won't as they love to dodge taxes

Why only 15 days?

Probably, but no one can give you a definitive answer. You are better off re-entering using a visa to reduce any risk of denial.
