U.S. House Democrats to get more Mueller evidence, Trump calls witness 'sleazebag'

And what was John Dean convicted of pray tell?

He plead guilty to obstruction of justice, but did not receive any prison time  due to his cooperation with the investigation.  At one time he was actually in protective custody due to credible death threats.

  • Good looks like Barr is starting to act like the AG and look who is calling who a sleaze bag lol the man of 10,000 lies that’s funney

  • Incorrect. The Mueller Report does not claim 'no obstruction'

No recommendation, no indication.

Barr is not giving them the unredacted report, only notes. It is illegal to give grand jury info to congress. Besides they have a mostly unredacted report available that the authorized Democrats have not even gotten off their butts to go read. All they are fighting about is that they cannot leak a copy to the slanderous MSNBC & CNN to twist into another half truth.

No indication? Nonsense. The report says it does not exonerate Trump of obstruction of justice and point out that the Constituion offers another remedy for dealing with this.

The mueller investigation turned a profit for the country, didn’t it? (with the potential for garnering still more profit in the months ahead.)

anyway... surely one would expect politicians to be politically motivated, much as one would expect a cook to be motivated to feed his customers.

True...or maybe just break even. Regardless...by no means a waste of time and money and certainly no witch hunt. Exposed alot of criminal activity and recouped much of the expense. More to come, most likely.

More to come for sure. They haven't even begun to deal with the wrongdoings the dems will eventually have to answer for.

So your response to facts is to enlist the crystal ball. Got it

Verbally abusing a witness is obstruction , this is precisely what Mueller indicated. Trump has so far escaped prosecution simply because of the singular protection afforded the POTUS , that only lasts for the duration of the presidency .

In years to come those who blindly supported this man will not be judged well , by contrast Nixon's fans will appear quite cuddly.

That was not the aim or agenda. They need to keep digging and churning hoping to find anything, no matter what. Clutching at straws and desperation.

Pity they waste so much time, energy and public money. Must be hard being driven by so much hate and political motivation.

Yes, money better spent on a few more years of Benghazi hearings.  :cheesy:

Thanks, this one made my day!

Unfortunately the White House has the right to review all documents that the DOJ intends to supply to Congress before they is turned over and has the right to not hand it over claiming "executive privileged".

Trump firing Barr would be wonderful news, but it ain’t going to happen.

Barr is Trump’s most valuable asset in his continuing attempts to evade Congressional oversight.

Whether Barr walks away or gets the Trump boot, I think the chances of him departing the toxic swamp are there. Barr "seems" like an intelligent man; the longer he remains as "Trumps personal AG", the more harm he does to his career.

It will be interesting to see what school yard names Trump cooks up for him. I think it will be something like "cowardice, low life, loser lawyer".
