Stee
Hi. Hope this is the right place to ask for some advice. I'm looking to retire in Thailand in around 1-2 years time. I'm just wondering what people do for health insurance/medical care. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Bang Bang
Plenty of options. Best discuss with a broker (AA Insurance is good) to find a best fit.
Puchaiyank
There are numerous companies offering health insurance for use in Thailand...Google it... Age is important...the younger you buy in...premiums are less...some will simple not insure an older expat... Do your homework...some companies "never" insure pre-existing conditions... Some companies may never help pay for your hospitalization... High deductibles...low coverage...

I mainly did a 1 year health check when I first came to Thailand to retire. You are covered for accident in car & motorcycle cover you can also get a voluntary personal accident cover too. Health Insurance I got later with a Thai Ins company. Just had a health check today which they wanted before renewal.
