Word is that Sessions will make a try to get back in the Senate.

DT's biggest mistake is the whole presidential run.  When the dust settles everything will be sequestered, like they did to Manafort.  They'll probably have enough appeals, caveats etc to keep him out of prison before he expires.  Sometimes longevity has its drawbacks: ask Bill Cosby to explain that one.

IMO the "divorce" of Don Jr and his high-profile affair with a woman from Fox News is some sort of ploy to prevent all the assets of the organization from being sequestered, with the ex-wife being the shelter.

Not exactly.  Mueller knew he wouldn't be able to do that on day one.  It took two years of investigating to come to the conclusion that Trump couldn't be cleared.

Without actual proof, everything he said can be put down to an overwhelming desire to tarnish Trump's reputation, which in my opinion he has. Even if he didn't prosecute he was able to provide evidence of wrong doing, which he did not, else Trump would be under impeachment as I write.
