A friend ask me about the below that her friends daughter received .....

 

Just a little bit obvious ... 0744 is a fake code ...iPhone , diamond ring etc do people really fall for this............

Yes. Better to post all the details, company name, addresses, emails, phone numbers, etc
Other curious people may Google, and find out it's a scam.

Why do you say that 0744 is a fake code. It seems to be allocated to a service provider (Cloud9) in the UK.

Is this one of those scams where the woman was told she was being sent a package with loads of goodies but she has to pay some tax or customs charge?  I hope she hasn't paid.

Looks legit, she should just pay the 20k for import duties, when selling this stuff she will make good money.

The UK Mobile number I keep in the UK starts with 07446*******

 

That said, this is most obviously a scam, however, given some of the posts I read on ThaiVisa.com some of the posters may chance their luck on the off chance of receiving the Underwear !

Dead giveaway is the obviously exorbitant value of the parcel - another variation of the 419 scam.

Seems to be overweight for the listed contents, unless it is a very large diamond in the ring

If you throw enough **** at a wall, some will stick. This is the premise that a scammer works on.

There's many naïve suckers out there.
