geovalin Posted June 25, 2019 Share Posted June 25, 2019 After the collapse of a seven-storey building in Sihanoukville that has claimed the lives of dozens of people, Prime Minister Hun Sen has accepted the resignation of Preah Sihanouk provincial Governor Yun Min. The Chinese-owned building collapsed in the early morning of Saturday, leaving scores dead and injured. Rescue workers have continued to locate victims and they suspect more are still buried beneath the debris. The death toll rose to 28 yesterday, according to rescue workers. Preap Kol, executive director of Transparency International Cambodia, on Saturday called for those responsible for issuing construction permits to resign or be sacked. . .
