EV charging outlets in condos
Imagine if Bangkok became fully EV overnight. It would be bliss. Would you miss the sound of old busses, of diesel pickup trucks, nasty rattling Fortuners, Everests and Pajeros, the sewing machine drone of the CVTs of four pot Hondas or Toyotas? Super loud modified tinny motorbikes? I own two petrol cars. One a horrid four cylinder CVT, one a peppy four cylinder turbo but still not an enjoyable noise. Why do I need that? It gives me no enjoyment, it is just noise. Also not sure about V6s really. I owned one, it sounded OK but not special. I think the only really good sounding V6 was the NSX. I agree V8s generally sound good. You can enjoy EVs but still like the sound of a high performance Ferrari or Lambo. But how often do you hear that? Hardly ever. There will always be a place for high performance petrol engined cars, why do you think liking EVs mean those will be wiped out? It is just stupid. -

Cervical Cancer Treatment Options
So yesterday I was hanging out with a girl I know and she gets a phone call out of the blue - long story short, she goes outside and then she comes into the room from the balcony and simply says "I have cervical cancer, doctor said don't worry and go to Chonburi Cancer Hospital on Monday - how can I not worry?". Well, I've known her a while and don't have much else to do and she's terrifyingly young to get such a sinister disease so I'd like to give her the best odds of survival.h What do contributors have to offer as far as advice? I'm lucky myself and have never been in a hospital for anything more than my annual physical "body scan". So I'm completely out of my depth here. Most advice I've found is that the Chomburi hospital is poorly staffed and private hospital will likely be much better. But I genuinely don't know. -

Your Two Months Rental Deposit
My family has lived in 4 different houses over the last 8 years and NEVER had a problem with getting the FULL deposit back. I always leave the place in better condition then I receive it. I also don't rent from "fly by night" type landlords. To me it is important to have the right landlord as well as the right house. They go hand in hand. Anytime I had a issue with something, the landlord has always been there to fix whatever. And out of all of the expats that I know, none has ever not received their deposit back. -
