rooster59 Posted June 27, 2019 Share Posted June 27, 2019 Boy, 6, dies from dengue fever in Mahasarakham By The Nation A six-year-old schoolboy has died of dengue fever in Mahasarakham’s Na Doon district, the province’s chief public health officer said on Thursday. Doctor Phakee Suppipat said the boy lived with a grandmother and an aunt in Moo 4 village in Tambon Dong Yang in Na Doon and studied at the Holy Infant School in Phayak Phum Wisai district. Phakdee said the boy died earlier this week. He became the 289th person in Mahasarakham to catch the dengue virus this year. Phakee said the Mahasarakham Public Health Office received reports that 288 people fell sick with dengue fever from January 1 to June 22 this year, excluding the boy. Of this figure, 71 people fell sick from June 1 to 22 (excluding the boy), he added.
