  • NGOs have been trying to educate the farmers and give them alternatives  here for as long as I’ve been here. It doesn’t work. Very few welcome change here of any kind.   Thailand is a lost c

Maybe no farmer training would be needed if the pesticide companies were stopped from selling banned chemicals?

  • How sad Thailand is.

nothing to be tranined

SIMPLY BAN all horrible chemical and herbicide , with almost 50% of fruit and vegetables highly contaminated with very dangerous chemicals, there is no more options if not to BAN THEM ASAP

Reading the instructions for many will prove difficult

I thought they already knew how to overuse them, so training them how NOT to use them would be good

I was informed by one bloke using twice as much as the recommended dose was better as it worked faster, tried to reason with him it was dangerous, fell on deaf ears.

Thank goodness, to my knowledge, did not eat anything from his farm

Trained?

"Hey Somchai you missed a spot"

They will sign their names, get 500 baht, and the balance will disappear into a few pockets~someone figured out how to get one more big payday until the ban

Time for Thailand to take the lead in something & ban this <sh-te>. We have a small piece of land in Chaiyaphum in the mountains bought fir its beautiful flowing stream. Not even supposed to wash in it due to agricultural runoff.

The farmers are not all silly with chemicals, courses will help.

Take your pick more burning and haze people?

but do you also drink milk ?  drink alcohol ?  take medication ?

could be lectins , oxalates ...

Thank you for the insight . Are you a health practitioner?

Do you happen to have some reputable sources to share

with me so I can learn more about this?

I'm no chemist, but I can't help wondering if these dangerous chemicals go airborne a second time during burning season.

Local farmers drone spraying service in high demand. Front page Bangkok Post.
