Nothing to do with 'lefty media' - The Guardian is hardly a left wing newspaper.

It is very easy to be opposed to Muslim groups systematically grooming young, vulnerable white females for sex without being a racist. I've seen the behaviour of 'football hooligans' like Robinson first hand - they are vile and to my mind, have less of a right to be UK citizens than those they condemn.

It is not so black and white. The rape gangs activities had been covered up for years.    "A report released in June 2019 indicated that 15 of the 22 females involved were known to children'

And that is putting aside your ludicrous comparison between Yaxley Lennon and the Chartists, Trade Unionists, and Suffragettes, you seem to have learned their names but not what they stood for.

I think we are both wasting our time here.  Some people will believe what they want to believe - no matter what evidence is provided. That's one of the reasons the UK is in the mess its in now - people falling for populist ideals.

It is perfectly possible to be against the behaviour of certain sections of society whilst not being racist.  I for example, do not like the general behaviour of Pakistanis in the UK, I find much of it incompatible with indigenous UK culture. To practice fully, the religion of Islam requires behaviour, laws and methods that are not those of the UK - yet the UK allows such things and even changes its laws specifically to suit certain non indigenous religions. Muslims protest against many aspects of UK life and in a great many cases, the UK gives in to them - this only serves to assist the cause of groups like the BNP and EDL who are pure racists.

I am not however, against Pakistanis because of their race or colour - the UK should stand up for its vaules and laws, not change them to suit a particular group. Anyone who entered the UK lawfully and participates in its laws and values is welcome in my opinion. Those who do not should either leave or be punished if they break the law. That includes all those of non-UK heritage AND those who practice racism.

You only have to watch video footage of EDL/BNP rallies to know what sort of people they are.

Thank you for the fumiest thing I have heard in ages. The Guardian is hardly left wing.  You must be reading the pet section.

I agree with you on this point or most of it. So those who voted in the leave or stay in the EU Referendum are standing up for their laws and values. We voted leave. So leave. The fact that many EU citizens and non EU citizens as you mention the Pakistani and Bangladeshi community do not assimilate and never will. Those who break the law then claim that if they went back to their country such as Albania, Romania etc etc are manipulating the UK's generosity and the EU loophole of the ECJ.

Yes half the people who grew up on a council estate. Or half of those who went to public school and couldn't buy there way out of things for what ever reason. Your point being! The term half is used loosely but still relevant.

I give up. Some people will support vile racists no matter what they do or say.

And some people will call others “ultra right wing nazis” without any real basis, making the term completely meaningless.

So you approve of Wicca and Paganism - what are your thoughts on that other middle Eastern religious import, Christianity? I believe that has caused many, many more problems in the UK over the years than any other.

Untrue - look at his history.

Robinson's activities are nothing to do with exposing vile paedophile networks - they are purely racially motivated.

Don't be fooled by this thug. He may wear a suit these day, he may call himself a reporter. He is nothing but a vile racist, nazi sympathiser. He has tempered some of his public statements in order to appear acceptable to the greater public audience.

He has ultra right wing, nazi style beliefs - many of our fathers fought and gave their lives fighting people with similar beliefs.

My country would be far better off if this lowlife scum was jailed for life.

He's never expressed any nazi style beliefs and it's absurd to say he has.

Thats not what a nazi is, or what nazism is about. That’s some shit you just made up, hence why it’s absurd to call someone a nazi.

And I’d like to see where tommy Robinson called for “entire nationality’s or races of people” to be denigrated or wished I’ll will.

Proper football hooligans like Tommy  are usually OK , they only fight against other hooligans who want to fight .

Its thew wannabee hooligans that fight proper who have no interest in fighting that give real, proper hooligans a bad name

I must admit that I wasn't trying to encapsulate the entire doctrine in my post, but going more for a sardonic take on an earlier poster's comment of, "I for example, do not like the general behaviour of Pakistanis in the UK"

The otherness of an entire group of people based upon their ethnicity is certainly aligned with some of the more controversial Nazi tenets.

Do you really mean that ?

Pakistani pedophiles have more right to UK citizenship than British football hooligans  ?

Is that your personal choice ?

"Mortgage fraud" does sound serious , but all Tommy did was to put some of his friends in touch with a mortgage broker that issued fake payslips in order to obtain a mortgage  .

IMO , the authorities only prosecuted Tommy because of who he is .

No money was defrauded from any bank  , just fake payslips in order to receive a mortgage, which would have been paid back to the bank

Yes, and before that he was a football hooligan and general criminal convicted of many offences......would you like to see the rap sheet of your 'hero'? (All this before the latest contempt conviction)

Assault

In 2005, Robinson was jailed for 12 months for assault occasioning actual bodily harm, for which he was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment, and assault with intent to resist arrest, for which he received a concurrent term of three months.

Assaulting a police officer

In 2010, Robinson was charged with assaulting a police officer during clashes at a poppy burning protest. After the fighting, a police officer was taken to hospital after trying to intervene in a 50 man brawl.

Rooftop protest

In 2011, Robinson and EDL co-founder Kevin Carroll flew to Zurich to protest on the roof of a FIFA building that England were not allowed to wear poppies on their kit because of FIFA’s political symbol ban. They were fined £3,000 for their troubles.

Assault at his own rally

In 2011, Robinson was convicted of assault for an attack at an EDL march in Blackburn. After he was goaded for being a government and police informant Robinson launched into a verbal tirade against those protesting against him. Robinson then proceeded to headbutt one of the march goers.

Luton football riot

In July 2011, Robinson was found guilty of leading a brawl that included 100 Luton Town football fans into a fight with Newport County fans. Fans were heard chanting ‘EDL till I die.’ For the crime committed, he was given a suspended 12-month prison sentence and banned from Luton football matches for 3 years.

Using someone else’s passport

In January 2013 Robinson was jailed for 10 months for travelling to the USA on his friend’s passport. Robinson admitted the charge of possession of a false identity document with improper intention. The passport Robinson used was under the name of Andrew McMaster. He checked himself in on the way out from Heathrow airport however when he arrived in the USA customs officials took his fingerprints and realised he was using a passport that was not his own.

Mortgage fraud

In 2014, Tommy Robinson was sentenced to prison for 18 months for committing mortgage fraud with the crime dating back to 2009. After pleading guilty in November 2013 to committing £160,000 worth of mortgage fraud Robinson was sentenced at St Albans Crown Court.

Whilst passing the sentence, the judge told Robinson: ‘This was an operation which was fraudulent from the outset and involved a significant amount of forward planning.’

“I am satisfied you took part in a thoroughly dishonest course of conduct,’ he told him.

Contempt of court 1

In 2017, Robinson was given a 3 month suspended sentence after he admitted a contempt of court charge for attempting to photograph juvenile defendant in a court case whilst having no right to do so. Court security had told Robinson not to film in and around the court as it would lead to his arrest. The 3 month suspended sentence could be activated within 18 months.

Mortgage 'fraud' another example of state persecution for what he was saying. The so call fraud involved merely lending his brother in law 20k for a deposit for a self certified income on the mortgage. Thousands of people did the same but lack of anything else to nail him on they desperate Police got him on that, lending somebody money for a technical fraud. If the cops had wanted to they could have arrested thousands for doing the same thing. The house was sold within a year and the building society paid in full, nobody lost anything, the fraud was just splitting technical hairs to a ridiculous degree.

I challenge you to come up with any racially motivated action or claim by him. He has Muslim supporters and Sikh supporters and friends. He is opposed to the negative teaching of Islam, he is not anti Muslim. Islam is not a race and being opposed to it's vile ideology does not make him a 'racist'.

Tommy the racist ha ha

this guy endangered a case. It could have led to the defendants go free. That is what he risked. I think its good he get convicted for it. Just imagine the outcry if these rapist walked because that stupid idiot.  I am sure he then would have blamed the justice system. Idiots and extremist on both sides are making it hard for the moderates.

Absolutely right.

Robinson didn't expose anybody but he did put the trial at risk despite being warned.

If he wanted to exploit the case for his political agenda he should have waited until the trial was over and then gone after the police force, the council, and social services departments involved who had apparently been negligent at best, conspiring to pervert the course of justice at worst.

He could also have gone after the Labor MP Naz Shah who tweeted that the victims "should shut their mouths in the interests of diversity". Charming lady.
