Accident Two Construction Workers Electrocuted While Building Flood Barrier in Pathum Thani
Picture courtesy of SiamNews. Two construction workers have died after being electrocuted while working on a flood barrier in front of a temple in Pathum Thani province, north of Bangkok. The incident occurred on the morning of 21 July at a construction site in front of Wat Talad Tai, Moo 3, Bang Kadi subdistrict, Mueang district. Police from Pak Khlong Rangsit station received an emergency call reporting that two workers had suffered electric shocks and were in critical condition. Rescue volunteers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, along with emergency medical teams from Pathum Thani Hospital and Krung Siam St. Carlos Hospital, were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, authorities found two male workers unconscious. Rescuers attempted CPR on both men. One of the workers, aged 42 and soaking wet, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second worker, aged 20, was rushed to Pathum Thani Hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly afterwards. According to family members and co-workers, both men were Myanmar nationals employed as part of a flood barrier construction project commissioned by the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organisation. At the time of the incident, the pair had been fixing rebar and using a grinder when witnesses reportedly heard what sounded like a splash followed by shouting. Rushing to the scene, workers found one man in the water and the other on a concrete ledge. Both were pulled to safety, and emergency services were called immediately. Unfortunately, despite efforts to resuscitate them, both men could not be saved. Initial police investigations revealed that an electrical cable had been run approximately 30 metres from a power distribution box to the site of the incident and is believed to have been pulled into the water by the worker. Authorities contacted the Provincial Electricity Authority to inspect the electrical systems and to also cut off power to the site for safety. Police also documented the scene for evidence and have notified the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the Ministry of Justice to conduct autopsies on both victims. Police are now preparing to question the employer and project contractor to determine the cause of the incident, as the investigation continues. Adapted by Asean Now from SiamNews 2025-07-23 -

UK Migrants in taxpayer-funded UK hotels accused of rape, assault, theft, and other crimes
Simple reason for that Jimmy. Some members don't want to input to threads so they try to bring it down, because they can't start a decent thread of there own so they try and spoil it for others. -

Crime Fugitive Arrested After 10 Years for Role in Murder of Rubberwood Tycoon
Picture courtesy of Daily News Police have arrested a man wanted for his role in the brutal murder of a rubberwood businessman over a decade ago, following a tip-off that led authorities to a house in Hat Yai, Songkhla province. Officers from the Crime Suppression Division (CSD), led by Pol. Maj. Gen. Wittaya Sriprasertphap, apprehended 36-year-old Taweesap, who was wanted under an arrest warrant issued by the Surat Thani Provincial Court. He faces charges of murder, concealment of a corpse and unlawful possession of a weapon in a public place. The case dates back to 2014, when Mr. Wattana Ketkorn, a 55-year-old rubberwood contractor from Surat Thani, mysteriously disappeared after leaving home with 400,000 baht to settle a business transaction. Concerned relatives filed a missing person report with the Phunphin Police Station. Police investigations later uncovered that Mr. Wattana had visited the home of his 25-year-old mistress, Ms. Supranee, shortly before vanishing. Under questioning, Ms. Supranee eventually confessed to conspiring with her lover, Taweesap, to lure Mr. Wattana to her home. There, the pair murdered him in a calculated robbery, stabbing and slashing the victim nearly ten times before burying the body near a worker’s camp in a rubber plantation. Following her confession, officers located the victim’s buried body in the area described, confirming the gruesome details. Ms. Supranee was arrested and charged, while Taweesap fled the area and managed to evade capture for over 10 years. After years on the run, Taweesap was finally tracked down and arrested at his residence in Ban Phru subdistrict, Hat Yai. He is now in custody and will face legal proceedings for his alleged crimes. Why is the Pizza Company not "real pizza"?
Pizza restaurants worldwide have pineapple on the menu. Not all of them but most. Yes, I know pizza came from Naples,Italy. I didn't think it was invented in Mongolia.
