Where to get sunscreen without the whitening effect in Thailand?

Featured Replies

Please, where can I get the sunscreen without the whitening effect? I went to the 7 Eleven and all the sunscreens are with whitening effect and too expensive. Is there any alternative, please?

Thank you.

I would think any of the big supermarkets Big C Tesco etc or failing that there are loads on Lazada.

Boots.  And from my experience, it is more expensive than the “whitening” kind.

Oh wow, that's bad. I thought that it will be possible to find something within 100 THB.

Boots stock "Australian Cancer" sunblocks....very effective and quite expensive - they may be on a "2 for 1 " offer.

Also Watsons stock the good stuff.

Boots own brand used to be bloody dreadful...designed for cool climates with no sweat...or sun even...

Exactly.  It’s all about double the price I would pay in the US

I bought some 2 months ago at Boots. I don't remember the price, but a good few hundred THB. They were running an offer of "buy 1, get 1 free" at the time.

Well, I guess there is no need for a sunscreen anymore. Last two days still rains in Ko Lanta... ????
