Another request re where to get stuff in BKK.

 

I am now looking for recommendations on where/if one can buy antidepressant Prozac, generic Fluoxetine in Bangkok.

My daughter says the pharmacy told her she needs a prescription from a doctor.

This is not correct. It does not require a prescription in Thailand.

However it is a very bad idea to self prescribe it so unless this is to refill a medication she is already on I strongly suggest seeing a psychiatrist first.

While it does not require a prescription, it can only be sold by pharmacies with a grade one pharmacist on duty and that may have been the problem. That ot they did not understand what she was asking for.
