Jomtien immigration office open on Saturdays ?

Went to Jomtien immigration this morning (Saturday), the date they indicated I should go to show them my post "approval to stay based on retirement " bank balance expecting what I had read elsewhere for them to be open.

Alas they were closed. Did I imagine that they would be open or have they changed the Saturday working hours again. No big deal , just interested.

They are not open on Saturdays. For a while last year some immigration offices were open on Saturdays but that ended sometime ago.

  My date to show that I still have 800,000 in the bank falls on a Saturday.  My Thai partner checked with the head guy at Jomtien Immigration and he said I can go either the Friday before or the Monday after.
