Qs about AIA's one-time payment Life insurance

Featured Replies

A Thai friend borrowed money to buy this for her Dad. I happened to know that the agent would collect 30% upon selling. Hated it. Wanted to buy heat (IR) reflecting paint instead to increase her parents' quality of life (at half the cost).

Q1: Is there such a product? A one-time "investment"

Q2: Can such a policy get canceled - even at terrible terms like "get 50%" or 7,500 THB for the 15,000 THB

Q3: I now wonder if it has been a scam with no life insurance ever been bought. Can one verify a policy without being the customer? Just wondering

Q4: is this a known scam? Pretending to do something for "parents" while never intending to repay a single Satang?

Thanks for reading. Hope to get some answers.
