Thai caption: Weird pigs inspire lottery fever

A stream of people were heading for village in Roi-Et in Thailand's north east at the weekend after two strange pigs were born.

The piglets had what appeared to be mini trunks like an elephant, said Daily News, whose reporters rushed to the area.

The pigs died shortly after birth but owner Prasat Malasin, 54, put them on ice so that people could get lottery numbers from examining them.

Prasat said he bought their mother for 15,000 baht for purposes of breeding and she had had ten so far. In the latest litter there were three one of which survived.

The village is Ban Thatu Jomsri in Kham Pha Ung sub-district should any Thaivisa members wish to get rich.
