39 Wa troops, civilians rushed across border to hospital in Mae Hong Son

Medical use of Marijuana in Thailand complies with International Principles

BANGKOK, 30 July 2019 (NNT) - Justice Minister Somsak Thepsuthin has confirmed that the guidelines for the use of marijuana in Thailand comply with the Single Convention on Narcotics, 1961, amended by the 1972 Protocol and the Convention on Psychotropic Substances 1971, which requires that the medical and scientific uses of marijuana must be subject to the government’s regulations and take into account health, safety and prevention of marijuana entering the black market, while ensuring that the country’s marijuana supply does not exceed medical and scientific demand.
