Thailand’s Biggest Ballroom Dancesport Championship ‘Royal Siam Cup’ Held at the Royal Cliff

Pattaya, Thailand – The award-winning Royal Cliff Hotels Group was the chosen venue for the “9th Royal Siam Cup 2019 – Dancing Championship and International Dance Camp”, Thailand’s annual biggest and longest-running Dancesport Championship organized by the World Dance Council (WDC) in Bangkok and the Thailand Association of Teachers of Dancing (TATD).

 

Over 400 professional and amateur dancers of all levels from 23 countries around the world took part in the exciting 2-day event where they experienced a world-class dancesport competition at the newly revamped Royal Summit Chamber of the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel. A welcome reception and dinner were held at the rooftop of the Royal Cliff Beach Terrace where participants enjoyed a sumptuous buffet dinner prepared by Royal Cliff’s talented culinary team and enjoyed breathtaking views of the coast.

The World Dance Council (WDC) holds the Royal Siam Cup - Dancing Championship and International Dance Camp annually to provide an opportunity for dancers of all levels from around the world to get together as well as promote sportsmanship in the competitive Dancesport community.

In my dotage I quite fancy learning to dance and chucking some nubile wench all around the dance floor. Unfortunately I have always had two flat and uncoordinated feet so will never happen.

Pity because it looks like good exercise .
