simon43
Note for the snowflakes and shills - this is not a Thai bash! just a funny event that occurred today. I'm moving out of Thailand in a few weeks. I have a small pot of one baht coins that I've collected. So I bag them all up in 100s and go to the local Bangkok Bank. The teller was very friendly, but I was a little embarrassed to find that they didn't have a coin weighing scales - each pack of coins had to be counted by hand. The young man carefully counted out all my coins, separating out any coins that were not shiny. At the end, he paid me for all the shiny coins, bagged up the slightly-tarnished ones and politely told me to go home and to clean them with a toothbrush.... ???? 1
Crossy
Stick them in a glass of <insert famous name fizzy drink> overnight. Nice and shiny in the morning.

bkk6060
So, now you know. Clean them before you leave if you want to exchange. Good luck to you and your future.
