Opposition parties visit bomb victims

Representatives of all seven opposition parties on Sunday visited two women hospitalised following last week’s Bangkok bomb blasts.

 

Thawee Sodsong expressed sympathy on behalf of the group to the victims, both of whom work for the Suan Luang district office.

 

 

They sustained minor injuries while cleaning a garbage disposal site on Rama IX Road Soi 57/1 where a bomb was hidden.

 

Thawee also thanked the medical staff at Sirindhorn Hospital and wished the women a speedy recovery.

 

 

A Pheu Thai Party spokesperson among the well-wishers condemned the bombers and called for heightened security measures and a speedy investigation.

I wouldn't deny that, but as we all know the important thing is to look good and make face, irrespective of how crap the product is.

Perhaps the women can sell it on to someone more gullible.

For all we know those very same baskets might be used only for photo-opportunities, never to be given to the patient, and are thirty years old.
