aussiestyle1983 Posted March 18, 2007 Share Posted March 18, 2007 We just booked some tickets on Emirates, but are having difficulty in finding out what taxes are actually included in the price we paid through their website. We just want to make sure we are aware and prepaired for what they might hit us for at the airport check in. On their webiste it says "Fuel surcharges MAY be included it the total cost" so does this mean they are or they aren't included? We are not sure if Emirates also includes the BKK and HKG airport taxes or we have to pay them seperatly at the airport. The taxes we were charged looks like the total ammount of the two airport taxes, and the fare was higher than originally quoted, so we think the fuel might be included in the raised fair price............. Anyone has flown Emirates before and booked online, do you know if we will have to pay extra at the airport or everything is included already? Thanks in advance..................... Thanks in advance..................... fuel charges airport taxes etc are liable to change only up to point of payment once payment is made to them the price will not be increased they just safe gaurd them selves for people who get a quote print it then 2 weeks later book it if theres been an increase in fuel what ever theyve covered themselves........... I already made full payment by credit card on Emirates website afew days ago. Based on that info, I guess (hope) they are not going to be asking me for airport taxes and fuel charges at the time of check-in.
