Actually, some cars go to Cambodia and are never seen again!

Funnily enough, no the car doesn’t need a TM 30, some things get off lightly, GRrrrrr.

No idea what happens after 30 days, maybe your charged import duty on said vehicle.

Very careless to lose ones car in a foreign country, could be very costly.

 

But all’s well that ends well, family and car had a good time.

Been through that border a number of times with my car. Paid customs 100 baht once but nothing on other occasions. No need to leave the blue book behind, you get a Temporary Import Permit (TIP) now and you can leave through a different border as I did back in February of this year. Everything for the car is done at the hut 300m down the road on the right.
