Help needed to find a past thread/post

I'm sure I read here a thread along the lines of What are you reading now, or books/novels to read.....you get the idea. There were some good suggestions there and I would like to find the post to get a few more. I've done a forum search but cant seem to find it. Anyone have it bookmarked? Thanks in advance.

Such lists are usually in the "Farang Pub" forum but a quick look of pinned topics reveals similar lists of movies and music but not books.

Maybe try a post in that forum.  I do remember a book discussion thread at some point in the past.

 

The ThaiVisa search function is pretty much useless.  Go to Google and use "ThaiVisa forum books" and you might find what you are looking for.

Can't find the thread you mentioned although I remember something along those lines last year, if not before.

Suggest you start a new thread asking the same question, "What are you reading now ?"

I could always name a few.

That's it.....the first one....I did several searches using "book" and "read" in titles then body then both. How did you find it.

I tried to find a thread that I started about 3 weeks ago, gave up the search, even using the exact thread title didn’t find it !!

If it's one you started/posted, look in your posting history it'll be there, everything you post is. You can look by post or topic

Yes this is true but just gently asking why is the search function unable to be improved? There is general consensus that it is useless. How many people over the years have wasted hours trying to use it and finally given up? Myself included.

That is a question better suited to "forum support" I do know it is being looked at with Invision.

Use the Google index search terms site:forum.thaivisa.com

 

TV does not have the resources to make a powerful search.
