We own a condominium in Prachuap Khiri Khan province where we currently live. We will be renting a condominium in another province and will be staying there for 6 months. As we need to return for other commitments, we plan on doing our 90 Day Reporting and Annual Extensions based on retirement, at our local Immigration Office in Prachuap Khiri Khan province.

The Juristic Person will report our arrival at the rental condominium in the other province, on our arrival, to the local Immigration Office using the on-line service.

Our next 90 Day Reports are due at the same time as our next Annual Extensions. We plan on returning to our condominium in Prachuap Khiri Khan province the day before we go to our local Immigration Office to complete these tasks and we will also look to obtain a re-entry permit.

Q1. Should we ask the Juristic Person at the condominium we own to report we are staying to our local Immigration Office in Prachuap Khiri Khan using the on-line service?

We will subsequently return to our rental condominium in the other province a few days later where once again the Juristic Person will report our arrival to the local Immigration Office using the on-line service.

We plan on returning to our condominium in Prachuap Khiri Khan province the day before we go to our local Immigration Office to complete our next 90 Day Report.

Q2. Should we ask the Juristic Person at the condominium we own to report we are staying to our local Immigration Office in Prachuap Khiri Khan using the on-line service?

We think the answer will be ‘Yes’ to both of these questions but are keen to check with others more knowledgable than us. Thanks in advance for any guidance and feedback.

If you own the Condo you can make the reports yourself.

By law you should make a formal change of address (TM.28) when you change location, and a separate TM.30 should also be made.

What you actually need to do is down to the offices you report to. If you don’t ask the offices for guidance I suggest you keep it simple and make a TM.30 report yourself on return to your condo.

Thank you elviajero and Victornoir for your feedback.

The reason we suggested the Juristic Person do the TM.30 Reporting at the condominium we own us because it seems the simplest approach as they can do it on-line.

Keeping our heads below the parapet appeals, our main concern is we are talking several months between visits to our home in Prachuap Khiri Khan province.

We could ask the Juristic Person at the condominium in the other province not to report us arriving in which case we would appear to be at our home in Prachuap Khiri Khan province.

Will our chosen approach impact on our Annual Extensions or 90 Day Reporting?

We have a 5 year history of renewing Annual Extensions at our local Immigration Office so it seems to make sense to try and maintain that record with them.
