Phetchabun Immigration.

Info for people who use Phetchabun Immigration. Spoke to Immigration officer today,(the officer who signs your extension of stay in passport) with ref to using the combination method for renewing Retirement Extension. They will only do, money in bank 800,000, or monthly income. Hope this info is useful to someone.

 I should have mentioned I'm a holder of a British Passport. So no income letter. So for me, it's money in the bank & Income from a pension, using bank letters & statements.  I showed the officer this doc below. But got a big No.

So this Immigration office refuses to abide by the Immigration regulations published by the  Central Immigration office.  It's no wonder so many of us are completely disgusted by the Immigration system used in Thailand and apparently many are leaving the country because of it.

The majority of foreigners want to follow the law, unfortiunately Thai immigration doesn't.

I think the OP is referring to the combination method, which was not accepted by his local Immi officer.

He then concluded that he was left with only the money in the bank method OR monthly income although he used the ampersand rather than  "OR".          If he were able to do the combination method it would, as the name implies be a combination of the two.
