Better to hammer 5 words into memory or casually learn 10-15 with less recall?

Featured Replies

Per day I can roughly do one of these. The 5 word repetition (or more accurately, 10 over 2 days) makes me feel solid with those words, but at that pace I'll have learned maybe 600 over a year. At 10 per day I could have a fuller vocabulary and more general exposure to different angles of speaking in the same domain. But of course memory of each word is slower and/or more forgetful.

What do you guys believe is better? what do you tend to do?

Whatever is comfortable for that day... make cards and make sure to review everyday too... that is important but best is to make sure you use the words you know... if you are living here you have the chance to assimilate...

Hammer X3 words per day. You will retain the information. Good luck ????
