Noodle vendor claims they urinated in the broth "to cure muscle aches"

First Fully Licensed International School on Koh Phangan to Open this September

Environment Ministry considers quicker ban on 4 plastic products in Thailand

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is considering bringing forward, by 1-2 years, the imposition of a complete ban on the use of single-use plastic bags, Styrofoam boxes, plastic straws and single-use plastic cups.

Idea of having pharmacies fill prescriptions comes up again

Since Thailand has about 1,000 state hospitals and at least 15,000 pharmacies – with more than 4,800 in Bangkok – it is only sensible to merge the two together so patients being treated under the Universal Healthcare Coverage can have their prescriptions filled at a local pharmacy instead of having to queue at over-crowded state hospitals.
