HI guys!

first posting on here, we'r due to fly to chiang mai for 3 nights on 29/3/07 staying at the D2 hotel.

From reading forums and press reports the air looks pretty unpleasant there. We've resounded to the fact that IF w decide to go then we wont be doing the activites we planned such as elephants, rafting etc.

Is there any sign of the conditions lessening? We're at a point were we're going to los our flight money if we cancel and as the uk foreign office are not advising against travel we wont get any help from our agent.

Should be go or not?

Thanks

Chris

Up To You but if it were up to me, I'd cancel. The only think that would clear it up is a good rain but that's not likely to happen this month.

Today was much better than it has been for the last 2+ weeks. But still, March & April are always the least appealing months for visiting Chiangmai, except for those coming specifically for Songkran.

Really am stuck to be honest! We need to let our agent know before end of day really, is the nightmarket still operating?

Any sine of sunshine!

Yes! Don't panic. Everything is open and it is pretty sunny in the afternoon. But the sun is really orange in the morning and early evening! :o
