TM30 apply/ID+PW online success - thai renter

girlfriend is renting an apartment in bangkok, lease is in her name.

i am usa hansum man, on non-O retirement extension.

she is reporting my residence.

 

we successfully registered using the TM30 online system (win XP/firefox).

applied end of july, immediately got the confirm email message.

had status "pending approval" until a few days ago, when it changed

to "approved".  we received a user id and password today.

turnaround time just over four weeks for online system

 

at the time of application, were unable to obtain owner id and housebook.

we left the house number on the application blank, as there is no red asterisk

indicating a required item.

 

we applied with gf's id card, rental contract, and signed statement that i

am living with her.   of course included the usual documents for the foreigner.

 

we ALSO had mailed in a TM30 package the day after arrival using the same

documents.  receipt returned after 6-1/2 weeks.
