skippybangkok
Wondering if anyone has advice on the cost of a 40ft container from France to Bangkok, or which are the best companies to contact including importing. Item is about 350kg and needs a 40ft container. Thanks

Or do you mean sell containers.I think the OP is not looking to buy a container, just to ship stuff that uses up a full container.
garrya
I think my line was crystal clear: "hundreds of shipping companies". (not container sellers) Shipping company: a company that provides shipping services, such as freight-forwarding, import-export clearance, air freight and many more. And to answer your first question: Yes. There are literally thousands of shipping companies, agents offering shipping solutions. Alibaba is a great platform for them to find customers. I got stuff shipped for 200-1200 usd with no problems at all. Damco logistics and Schenker Thailand will certainly help you. They both do Europe - far east journeys. Damco is an affiliate of Maersk. As for Alibaba, agreed, they don't send me but the companies do. seems my enquiry went to a fake Alibaba company who shares your email with a gazillion others. The spam really has been out of this world. All from china, and the only input was looking for some specific shock absorbers
