Roojai Insurance Experience..

Recommended Posts

I used the Roojai online App to get a quote for my Toyota Vigo.

Seems their quote is 50% less than I am currently paying for the same

coverage.

I am wondering if anyone has direct experience with Roojai.

I did read some Social Media posts that said some dealers and repair

shops won't accept them for direct payments due to slow payments.

Any info would be appreciated...

In my second year with them, they are actually brokers. Never had a claim in the time I have been with them so can't comment on that aspect.

I did save a good amount though from previous company when I switched.

Yup, they're great, my premium went down by around 40%, & I got a 1k baht discount card, which didn't have any daft T&C's.

That's awesome.... Thanks guys.. I appreciate the input

I switched last January. Painless online signup and easily 50% cheaper than my previous first class insurance provider. I have read on the forums of two separate no-fault claims that were handled as efficiently as any other.

Thanks.. I appreciate your input..

We went with Roojai  in July this year on a 1 year old Civic Turbo, premium was 3,000 thai baht cheaper than any other quote.

In August a Truck ran into the back of us in Loei, claims guy came out next day and authorized repairs at main Honda dealer

Service was great can highly recommend

Did they send someone to the accident scene?

If you read Roojai site you will see all the guarantees. When I did mine I had to use an iPhone app for them to inspect the car, very high tech, so they could see if there was any damage before insuring it..????

No driver of truck did not stop so we went to main police station in loei filed accident report, called Roojai when we were there and were given mobile number of Local claims rep, he told us he would come to our house next day.

Same they did a video call when we paid and inspected car via an app we downloaded, it was quite thorough too.

Their quote for our car was less than half what we pay I think next time we will use them, Im looking to see if we could get a refund from the present company as none of the body shops around here will deal with them bad at paying and I was told they tell the garages to use copy parts

The garages won't deal with who? Your current company or Roojai?

I just switched and saved 40%+... They did an inspection thru their app... Had a couple phone conversation with them too... Their phone reps all spoke English... The app also seems to have an emergency reporting function - This might be useful in an accident situation...

One of the guys that put me on to roojai said he had to use the app as part of his pre-approval sign up. I did everything online as I had the VIN, pre-existing insurance and NCB details at hand. Never had to use the app. After online application, they called asking for more info which I had already submitted online and told them as much. They apologized and said they'd check then they called back about 45 minutes later, apologizing for the previous call and confirming my coverage was in place; just about the same time as their email confirmation arrived. All very slick IMHO.

Also noted that the residual (replacement) value for my 4 year-old sports lorry was also 85k baht higher than the previous insurance (AXA) and two other companies.
