Future Forward party leader told to stop his divisive rhetoric

The Future Forward party leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit has been told by the deputy spokesman of Palang Pracharat, the core government party, to cease his divisive rhetoric which, he claims, is inciting public distrust and misunderstanding of the government.

Mr. Thanakorn Wangboonchana said today (Monday) that he felt very uncomfortable with Mr. Thanathorn’s statements, which he made made during his recent visits to flood victims, accusing the government of spending tens of billions baht of investment budget on implementing train projects in Bangkok while spending only a small fraction of the money to help flood victims.

Mr. Thanakorn said that Thanathorn’s rhetoric is dangerous and amounts to incitement of public misunderstanding using false information, stressing that the train projects are beneficial to the people and will bring prosperity to the country as a whole.

Thanathorn should be able to say what he thinks about it. No need to agree with what the junta says. That is politics. They are too scared to accept it. I do agree with the spending on the trains, they just should divert some of the military money flood victims. Would be much better use of money then some stupid submarines.

I don't think you need Thanathorn to incite public distrust in the government, the two (Mr.P's.) clowns are doing a fine job with that, without his assistance.

How about the money they spend on Tanks and Submarines to protect the country from war with Laos.   Especially at sea.

And what about the minister who said he only went to prison in Australia for a small offence and misunderstanding. We now have proof he was sentenced for smuggling heroin. He told the public a pack of barefaced lies. Will this knowledge lead to public distrust and misunderstanding?

They mean he should say only what they allow and beware of the truth

Seems they forgot that they claimed this is a democratic country

You cannot effectively argue, so you accuse him of being bad.  More delusion from junta lackies.  Learn how to take criticism and form an argument or step down.  You are an embarrassment to Thailand.

Yes he was clearly setup, a scapegoat.

And decided not to appeal through the court system to save the alien taxpayers money!

There wouldn't be too many of them who didnt get their wealth through some type of crime or corruption.

Surely the submarines are the Government's answer to the flood problem!

Who does the “deputy spokesman” -whatever low and unimportant position that is - think he is that he can tell Thanathorn what to say or do?

Thanakorn is a nobody and should now concentrate on how to explain to the Thai people - and the rest of the world - how apart from a bunch of other crooks - a major drug dealer ended up in his government as a deputy minister!

Politics is the lowest form of human endeavors...mud and poop slinging are part of the job...the ultimate prize is power over a countries taxes and natural resources...any threat to dethrone the status-quo will be met with stiff resistence and sometimes violence...

Future Forward should watch their backs...????

Am I allowed to donate to his  party or am I  encouraging inciting hate?

You mean along the same lines as when former PM Abhisit made similar accusations of the Yingluck regime as an opposition party? I don't recall Yingluck telling Abhisit to cease his divisive rhetoric.

Of course when a political party has a coup-prone military in their "back pocket," divisiveness is the name of the game.

"the train projects are beneficial to the people some families and will bring prosperity to the country China."

Couldnt it be said that all the rampant nationalism and the likes of Apirat carrying on about communism is divisive rhetoric. You are permitted one line of thought in this country, anything else and you are  "Nuk Paen Din" or Scum of the Earth.

Apirat rhetoric is not only divisive, it's incendiary and source of conflicts.

"...is inciting public distrust and misunderstanding of the government."

????

Yeah!

Great!

Only allowable when you're with the PPRP full of <deleted> and wind.

Surpirse, surprise, the basic idea of politics is lost on this bootlicker.

Should be a lot more of it, these junta lovers should grow some balls instead of playing cry-babies.

Only available to and able to be practiced by the junta lackies, unfortunately their free speech is BS to everyone else.

Freedom of speech - Thai-style?

The simple remedy for all this is to go ahead and appoint the Military Attaches to Thai embassies around the globe as mooted by the PM,  cleary we all need to understand what we misunderstand and learn to trust what we mistrust.

He seems like just what the country needs. Keep going Thanathorne.

Ooh! That´s the things other countries call, freedom of speech, opposition and democracy. Here they invented their own, and it´s called democrazy.
