BANGKOK, 12 September 2019(NNT) - Seventeen government agencies have collaborated to exchange and share information about complaints made by the general public. The collaboration will help the government identify and address the people’s problems more effectively.

The 17 government agencies include the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Finance, the Royal Thai Police and the Ministry of the Interior.

They signed a memorandum of cooperation to jointly handle public complaints. Under this agreement, the agencies will store the people’s complaints in an information system, manage the complaints in the system and develop innovations to solve the problems impartially.

The Deputy Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Wissanu Krea-ngam, delivered the policy and the framework of the Chief Complaints Executive Officer (CCEO). The CCEO will oversee the complaints, coordinate with related units and follow up on key operations.

The government recognizes that it must alleviate the people’s hardships. Government House’s hotline 1111 is one of the channels for people to lodge their complaints.

More than 80% of the people said they are satisfied with the government’s actions in addressing their problems quickly, and those responsible for receiving the complaints must be willing to help others.

So 17 government agencies have got together to discuss how best to exchange and share the best way to avoid dealing with public complaints, sounds about right.????????

Hire an Ombudsman, plop him in some remote office, buy him a shredder and trash bags (not plastic). Job done.

Easy answer: "sorry, I don't understand the question" or "I couldn't hear the question" (as in another thread that is currently running).
