Stupid customer in the first place, not knowing the amount, Lazy, could not bother to count the cash, WOW.

And apparently she managed to buy a new house and a car in this manner.

There would appear to be a lot of dumb customers around.

Bank teller caught she gets fired Police they just get transferred go figure TIT

Just recently, we had to deposit a very large sum of money, in cash, into Krungthai Bank. There were 2 tellers and 2 cash counting machines involved and the whole proceedure was very transparent indeed. Each bundle was checked by eye and then counted at least 3 times.

I suspect there is a little more to this story than meets the eye. I'm quite sure that it would be against standard banking procedures to count customers deposits in secret.

Interesting, the bank is not named but I know, that Kasikorn bank's colour is green and Siam commercial bank is purple, hence neither one of them  ..........

Next step, a PHD in Banking from the Pacific University of Deadwoods ????

Now what we need is ALL police to wear body cams that cannot be turned off! I wonder if that would make it safer out there?

the depositors said they weren’t sure about the amounts.

obviously the customers fault, luckily, i can say i have never been guilty of that crime.
case closed. move along, nothing to see.

Police action on the case is pending and some suspicions have also fallen on the manager of the branch.

In it together.  A house and a car must amount to at least a couple of million and no one noticed for a year?

If the Bank Suspected wrong doing by an Employee - WHY didn't the Bank install CCTV

cameras ?  It took an Employee to do it. Sure NOT a good sign for Bank Security.

Police Action Pending ?  She is on Tape stealing & should be in Jail.

Just go to wat and make merit. Everything forgiven.

Do they confiscate goods which are proved to be proceeds of crime?

The newly purchased house and car?

A good question. She won't need them while she's in jail, so ........

She looks so beautiful, im sure that somebody is going to rescue her! If not; im ready for it!

I'm stunned they did not give her the blurred face courtesy they usually give crooks.

Lesson learned: If she wasn't going to share with everyone, she should have made better use out of her ass ets.

Fired from her respectable job that's what she might have to do soon...

And would you say the same if she did this in the toilet?

Would you expect bank customers cash to be in a toilet as opposed to a working area of the bank ?

You must come from a strange country.

What is it about the Thai genetic makeup that says it's ok to steal?.

These are educated people in possibly coveted positions.

Security everywhere.

But they repeatedly do it, and get caught.

Change the scenario to other places like 7/11, and reflecting on earlier posts, you have to say "yes" they do it too.

Look at immigration and they charge 300 for a certificate of residence, suppose to be free.

The brown paper envelopes.

It's in every walk of life here.

Amazing that there was no CCTV in the area, smacks of gross incompetence and negligence on the part of her employers

Or complicity - the manager is in the firing line now, isn't he/she?

Maybe I missed the key information. What bank do I avoid or dont they have the courage to tell us that?

There is only one bank at km26 of Phaholyothin road, in Phaholyothin Soi 60. On the other hand, the name of the bank can be seen from her dog tag strap.

That said, this is happening at many different banks and it is down to what the bank management does when this is discovered, and what safeguards are put in place to prevent it from happening again that counts.

Most interesting part in here was that it was girl's colleagues that planted a camera in CCTV room for suspicion of theft, obviously without knowledge of their manager, so they were quite confident both of them were involved.

Can add experience to her resume...

Actually it looks like the manager was an accomplice. The girl is apparently manager's daughter.

Hmmm.... I read that those funds were spirited away by some top government officials months ago. ????????????

Reflecting into the cash distribution to flood victims currently.

An official goes there with a bag full of cash to distribute.

1000 for you

And 1000 for you.

And 1000 for me....

Another 1000 for me...

And so it goes..????

I Guess I do come from a strange country. There they count the money in front of you, not in some back room with no cameras.

She was the bank managers daughter and she dropped her draws for cash

Won't look too good on her future resume. Of course tomorrow doesn't count!

Nor will the explicit YouTube video, either.

But It was another employee who put up a camera.

The bank had suspicion!! Err BS.

So why didn't internal investigators set up a camera?

Or install a new camera in the blind spot?

As said.

If employees are able to install thier own cameras.

Where else are they?

Toilets etc...

It might also imply that this was not the only method she used to steal money .

An investigation might eventually show the car and home purchases to be a result of fraudulently obtained loans from the bank or possibly some type of embezzlement from customer accounts .

Of course I have no proof in this case but it has happened before where money was taken directly from customer accounts and had to be replaced by Bangkok Bank last October.

The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.

Lesson learned, don't trust any bank employees in Thailand, count your deposit and write it down on a note or even better use a Cash Deposit Machine.
